Here are early reactions of would-be Republican presidential candidates to the announcement of Hillary Clinton's candidacy. Substantive? Not exactly. Echo chamber? Pretty much. Damaging to our side? Well, follow me below the orange cloudy Republican thinking to judge for yourself.
According to USA Today:
Jeb Bush:
We must do better than the Obama-Clinton foreign policy.
Ted Cruz:
A Hillary Clinton administration would be no different than an Obama administration.... Does America want a third Obama term.
Scott Walker:
As Secretary of State @HillaryClinton was the architect of the failed foreign policy we’re seeing executed by President Obama today.
Mike Huckabee:
Clinton will have to explain how she’s not going to be Obama’s third term.
Lindsey Graham:
Clinton needs to make a case that she’s different from President Obama.
Mitt Romney:
The Clinton-Barack Obama foreign policy has really been a bust.
Hmm.... I detect a certain sameness....
Refreshingly (in this context), my own Senator Rand Paul talked about Benghazi.
